Learning doesn't stop when school is over for the day! By presenting academic concepts in creative ways, our curriculum helps children discover new things about themselves and the world around them -- without feeling like they're still in school.

FUN, BALANCED CURRICULUM

Literature-Based

Designed around effective research-based learning strategies, our curriculum is literature-based, not remedial or tutorial. It balances academics and enrichment activities to increase student achievement, reinforce academics and promote basic literacy and mathematical skills.

Hands-On Learning

Students work together in small groups (6-8 pupils per one instructor) on stimulating activities designed to release their academic power and potential. By engaging kids's hearts and minds, we create opportunities for active, hands-on learning - the kind kids like best!

Aligned with National and State Standards

Aligned with national and state standards, our curriculum is customized by state to correlate with individual state standards. The framework of the curriculum is structured to reinforce the essential components of reading cited by the National Reading Panel Report and the math standards cite by the 2000 National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

TYPICAL DAY

	Happy Hello	Students are welcomed by staff and accounted for each day at the start of the program.
	Nutritious Nibble	Students receive a nutritious snack upon entering the program.
	What's the Story	Staff and students spend time reading and enjoying literature related to the monthly theme.
	Extension Examination	School-assigned homework is reviewed and students complete assignments as time allows.
	Innovation Station	Students take part in a creative activity that correlates to the monthly theme and reinforces academics.
	Learning Laboratory	Students participate in a hands-on activity that correlates to the monthly theme and reinforces academics.
	Fabulous Fitness	Students take part in activities that foster fun and engagement through physical movement.
	Go Figure	Students use mathematical and reasoning skills to meet the challenges of a daily problem.
	Farewell Frenzy	Students are released by staff to a pre-authorized adult in a safe and orderly manner.
