AlphaBEST's summer programs expand our before/after school offerings with the same quality principles applied in a summer school format. We recognize the summer as a time for extended learning opportunities and expand the time allotments in each curriculum area. In order to retain academic achievement, a special concentration on academics is given to ensure that students transition from summer to fall with the vital skills for success in place. We work with the school district in order to determine which supporting curricular pieces should be utilized in order to bridge the school year learning to the summer program. At the same time, we know that the children need to explore enrichment areas. Summer time allows for better opportunities for field trip options where we take full advantage of local venues that inspire learning and advancement.
