Two years ago, me would see me now if they’d be astonished. I’m a Jose Batista at my side director at Smith Elementary. Working with kids, we have this thing called Maker. You forget how creative it can be when you’re so young. The imagination that you have, and all these things. Some of the kids are leaders. And seeing that with them, you know, only be nine years old. And it’s awesome. I was, you know, never very outspoken. I was fresh out of high school. You know, I was barely starting out with my associates. I had never worked any job before. I talked to all kinds of parents, teachers, staff. I can keep my head up high, my shoulders now, back. I was then more confident in myself, you know. For me, to get this from Alphabet, out of anywhere else, that says a lot about the company. And it says a lot about the staff that I work for. You know, you learn to work with a lot of people with different backgrounds. You learn to solve problems with them. Because of the kids, you know, not every day’s going to be the same. And so you really have to lean on your team, the team has to lean on you. If you want to come work with Alphabet, go for it. Alphabet always has my back. For anything. I don’t live here for anything.
