Our programs are designed to give you peace of mind when your child is not in school. Experienced, caring, and licensed staff ensures your child is safe, engaged, and happy! Every student participates in enrichment activities every day, at no additional charge! Coding, Robotics, Art, Drama, Spanish, Mandarin, Sign Language, Fitness & Sports, and Engineering/Maker Activities keep your child engaged and having fun every day at AlphaBEST! Snacks, homework help, recreation, and student-choice clubs are also provided to every student.

Hello, my name is Sabrina Taylor. I have worked in the education field for 15+ years! My passion for children has led me on my journey to work as a childcare provider, site director, paraprofessional educator, and substitute teacher. I believe that all children should have the opportunity to grow, learn, and explore as much as possible. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and shopping. I have always had a true passion for working with children, with over 16+ years in childcare, 9 of them with AlphaBEST Education. I have been blessed enough to experience multiple roles within the childcare field, from an aide to a group leader, site director, and special educator. I graduated from Kaplan University in 2014 with an Associates' Degree in Early Childhood Development. Working as an advocate for children has always been my passion. I am honored to say I am a loving wife, a mother of three, and a grandmother of two gorgeous grandsons who are all responsible for some of my proudest moments in life.

Hello! My name is Melissa Thomas. With over a decade of experience at AlphaBEST and a degree in Early Childhood Education, I'm delighted to lead our before- and after-school programs and early childcare centers in Charles County & Prince George’s County. My expertise extends to First Aid/CPR and AED instruction, certified by the Red Cross for 18 years. In 2016, I partnered with author Bill Carter on an anti-bullying initiative, impacting countless students in Maryland Schools. As a devoted wife and mother of three beautiful daughters and three bonus children, I am constantly reminded of my blessings. My approach to life is simple: Inspire the world to change by being that change yourself.
