Our programs are designed to give you peace of mind when your child is not in school. Experienced, caring, and licensed staff ensures your child is safe, engaged, and happy! Every student participates in enrichment activities every day, at no additional charge! Coding, Robotics, Art, Drama, Spanish, Mandarin, Sign Language, Fitness & Sports, and Engineering/Maker Activities keep your child engaged and having fun every day at AlphaBEST! Snacks, homework help, recreation, and student-choice clubs are also provided to every student.
Hello, my name is Shantoya Drew, and I am your District Manager in Suffolk, Virginia. I received my associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Tidewater Community College and my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Psychology at Norfolk State University. Working with children has always been a passion of mine; I have worked with children for over 13 years with the great understanding that you are never too small to make a difference! Outside of AlphaBEST, I enjoy cooking, traveling, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending quality time with my daughter. I look forward to collaborating with our families and providing lifetime memories for your children.
Cassandra brings 19 years of experience in education to her role as Regional Manager. Beginning her career as a teacher, she has since held a variety of positions, developing a deep understanding of the educational landscape. Cassandra is passionate about fostering a love of learning in students and empowering them to reach their full potential. She is dedicated to providing exceptional educational experiences for students, families, and staff alike, and works tirelessly to ensure everyone at AlphaBEST has the opportunity to thrive. Outside of work, Cassandra enjoys spending time with her family, including her 11-year-old daughter and two dogs, and exploring her interests in reading and pop culture.
